Tour Plan
Day 1: Nairobi – Mombasa
Morning flight from Nairobi to Mombasa. Transfer to hotel and check in. Afternoon: Guided walking tour of Mombasa Old Town — narrow streets, spice markets and Swahili houses. Dinner and overnight at coastal hotel.
Day 2: Fort Jesus & Cultural Tour
Morning: Guided tour of Fort Jesus (UNESCO World Heritage Site) — Swahili culture, trade history and Portuguese architecture. Afternoon: Leisure at the hotel or optional dhow cruise. Dinner and overnight at coastal hotel.
Day 3: Watamu – Gede Ruins
Full-day excursion to Watamu. Guided visit to Gede Ruins — an ancient Swahili town dating back to the 12th century. Explore Arabuko Sokoke Forest, home to rare bird species and butterflies. Return to hotel in the evening. Dinner and overnight.
